When a workout becomes routine, we let our minds wander and become distracted. This quickly leads to disappointing results and often injury. Many of us are also prone to overthinking our movements, which slows progress and creates frustration.
With 20 years of experience helping his clients overcome these challenges with dynamic, vibrant workouts, Jason Bayus developed BODHI SCULPT.
Jason’s method seeks to make movement balanced, mindful, and fun by utilizing rhythm and selected elements of pilates, dance, yoga, and the martial arts. BODHI SCULPT delivers an intense, comprehensive workout that awakens the body and the mind.
For the past decade, Jason has been a force within the fitness industry. With a diverse background in both movement and sports medicine, his classes and methodical training style are sought after by professional athletes, models, and celebrities. Jason is committed to an inclusive practice and tailors his workouts for ALL body types, professions, and fitness levels. His work provides an innovative, well-rounded workout that is both entertaining and effective.
As an early master trainer for Tracy Anderson and her business partner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jason helped create programs for Tracy’s private clients and studio base. An experienced ambassador, teacher trainer, and boutique studio consultant, Jason hosts teaching workshops and curates international retreats for all levels. In New York, Jason teaches both privately in-home and at studios in downtown Manhattan.
A graduate of Oberlin’s Conservatory of Music, Jason’s passion for music informs both his rhythmic sensitivity and popular playlists. As a premed student at Columbia, Jason researched neurological disorders at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and designs his classes for both physical and neurological benefits. Cardiovascular exercise with challenging, complex movement patterns, a defining feature of Jason's classes, may not only help keep the brain working at optimal levels but may also serve as a strong defense against Alzheimer’s, depression, ADHD, and other neurological disorders.
